Finding Hope and Healing
The Dandelion Retreat for Survivors
With 1 in 10 children is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. Survivors often spend decades trying to overcome the trauma they suffered as a child. Many suffer in silence. Feeling alone, depressed, and suffering from PTSD.
Twenty years ago Erin Merryn had a wish to be a face and voice for every survivor of child sexual abuse. By publishing her first book Stolen Innocence about her own abuse, she wanted it to help survivors know they are not alone and healing is possible. To help guide them to find their voice and path to healing their past trauma. The Dandelion retreat will be a time for survivors to find hope, healing, and happiness.
- Empowering Survivors: The Dandelion Retreat offers survivors of childhood sexual abuse a safe space to connect with others who have endured similar experiences, fostering a sense of solidarity and support.
- Healing Journey: Through workshops, therapeutic activities, and shared experiences, participants have the opportunity to embark on a healing journey, guided by experts and fellow survivors, towards reclaiming their sense of self and finding inner peace.
